Whether you're visiting family studying in Canada, exploring as a tourist, or attending a business meeting — the Temporary Resident Visa is your gateway. We handle the online application, documents, and biometrics end to end.
About the Visa
The Temporary Resident Visa is issued as a single or multiple-entry visa — we'll help you choose the right type.
The most common reason for a Canada TRV from India — visiting a son or daughter who is studying or working there. A strong invitation letter and proof of your child's Canadian status significantly strengthens the application.
Explore Niagara Falls, Vancouver, Banff, or Toronto. A tourism TRV requires a clear itinerary and evidence that you have strong ties to India and will return home after your visit.
Attend meetings, trade events, or professional conferences in Canada. Business visit applications benefit from a letter of invitation from your Canadian counterpart and a company letter from India.
A single-entry TRV allows one visit; a multiple-entry TRV allows repeated visits within its validity period. We advise which to request based on your travel plans and profile.
Key point: Canada TRV decisions are made by IRCC officers based on your financial profile, ties to India, and the clarity of your application. The application is entirely online — there is no interview. We ensure every section is answered correctly and every supporting document is complete before submission.
Required Documents
Every document reviewed and verified by our team before your online submission.
Must be valid for the full duration of your planned stay. Bring all previous passports — strong prior travel history is a significant asset for a Canada TRV.
Completed on the official IRCC website. We prepare and review every section for you — errors or inconsistencies in the online form are a leading cause of refusals.
Personal savings or joint account statements showing consistent, genuine funds. Canada expects you to demonstrate you can cover all your costs without working there.
ITR or Form 16. For business owners: business ITR, CA-certified financials, GST registration, and business registration certificate.
Leave sanction letter from employer, salary slips (last 3 months), and employment contract — or business ownership documents and active business proof.
Ownership of property in India — flat, land, or ancestral property — is one of the most compelling ties to India you can present. Registrar documents, property tax receipts.
A clear day-by-day plan showing where you will stay and what you intend to do. This directly answers the officer's core question: why are you going and when are you coming back?
From your Canadian-resident family member including their Canadian status documents (PR card, study/work permit, citizenship), and proof of your relationship.
Fees & Processing Time
All fees are set by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) and paid online at the time of application.
| Visa Type | Fee (CAD) |

| Canada Super Visa (Parents & Grandparents) | CAD $100 |
| Biometrics fee (per person) | CAD $85 |

Fees are paid in CAD via the IRCC online portal. VFS Global service charge (approx. ₹1,800–₹2,400) is additional. Biometrics are valid for 10 years — if you have previously given biometrics for Canada, you may not need to again.

Our Process
From profile review to biometrics and beyond — we handle the whole process.
We assess your travel history, financial profile, family ties, and purpose of visit. We then complete the IRCC online application (IMM 5257) with you — every section verified before submission.
We guide you through the application fee payment. Once IRCC sends the biometrics instruction letter, we help you book your VFS appointment in Ahmedabad for fingerprints and photograph.
We prepare your complete, tailored document package — cover letter, itinerary, bank statements, and all supporting documents reviewed and verified before submission.
After biometrics, IRCC reviews your application and may request additional documents at any stage. We track the status throughout and arrange passport delivery once your visa is stamped.
Canada Super Visa
The Super Visa is a special multiple-entry visa that allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and PRs to stay for up to 2 years per entry.
Unlike the regular TRV (6 months per entry), a Super Visa allows each stay to last up to 2 years — without needing to reapply from India mid-trip.
The Super Visa is multiple-entry — you can visit, return to India, and travel back to Canada repeatedly during the visa validity period.
Your Canadian citizen or PR child or grandchild must invite you and show their income meets the minimum threshold (LICO) for their household size.
A policy from a Canadian insurer — minimum CAD $100,000 coverage for at least one year from entry — is a hard requirement. No insurance means automatic rejection.
From your Canadian citizen or PR child/grandchild — must include a commitment to provide financial and accommodation support during your stay.
Copy of their Canadian citizenship certificate, passport, or permanent resident card confirming their eligibility to sponsor.
Notice of Assessment, employment letter, and recent pay stubs showing their income meets the Low Income Cut-Off for their household size.
Birth certificate and marriage certificate (if applicable) establishing the parent–child or grandparent–grandchild relationship.
From a Canadian insurer, minimum CAD $100,000 coverage, valid at least 1 year from your entry date. We advise on recognised providers accepted by IRCC.
Property ownership in India and prior travel history (old passports, foreign visa stamps) demonstrate your ties to India and your intent to return.
Why Applications Fail
Canada's refusal rate for Indian applicants is among the highest of any country. These are the most frequent reasons — and what we do to prevent them.
The single most common reason IRCC gives: "I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay." This means weak ties to India — no job, no business, no dependants, no property. First-time applicants with no travel history face this most often.
What we do: We document every tie you have to India — property, employment, family, business obligations — and frame your application around your intent to return.
IRCC expects genuine, stable savings — not sudden deposits made just before applying. Bank statements must match your ITR and salary slips. Inconsistencies between financial documents are a leading cause of refusals even when funds appear sufficient.
What we do: We review all your financial documents together before submission to ensure they tell a consistent story. We advise on what to include and how to present it correctly.
IRCC requires a clear, believable reason for your trip. Vague applications ("I want to visit Canada") without a detailed itinerary, hotel bookings, or a clear host arrangement are frequently refused. Visiting a child on a study permit requires specific documentation that many families don't know about.
What we do: We prepare a complete, detailed cover letter and itinerary that directly addresses the officer's core question: why are you going, where will you stay, and when are you coming back.
After a refusal, many applicants simply resubmit the same application. IRCC has access to your full history and will see you haven't addressed the stated reason. A second refusal makes a third application even harder to get approved.
What we do: We read your refusal letter carefully, identify the exact gap, and rebuild your application specifically to address it. We don't resubmit — we rebuild.
FAQs
The Super Visa is a special multiple-entry visa for the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Unlike a regular TRV (which allows up to 6 months per visit), the Super Visa allows each stay to last up to 2 years without renewal. Your Canadian child or grandchild must invite you and demonstrate they meet the minimum income requirement (LICO) to support you. They must also be a citizen or permanent resident — a study or work permit holder cannot sponsor a Super Visa.
On a regular Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), each entry typically allows a stay of up to 6 months, as determined by the border officer at your port of entry. On a Canada Super Visa, each entry can allow a stay of up to 2 years. In both cases, you must not exceed the authorised date — overstaying can affect all future Canadian applications.
An eTA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) is only for citizens of visa-exempt countries — Indian passport holders are not eligible for an eTA and must apply for a full Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). As an Indian citizen planning to visit Canada, you will always need a TRV or Super Visa. The one exception is if you hold a valid US visa or are a US permanent resident, in which case different transit rules may apply — we can clarify your specific situation.
Yes — visiting a child studying or working in Canada is one of the most common TRV applications we handle. A student permit holder can invite their parents on a regular TRV with a strong invitation letter, permit details, and proof of enrollment. However, a study permit holder cannot sponsor a Super Visa — for that, your child must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. We advise on the right visa type based on your child's Canadian status.
IRCC sends a refusal letter stating the reason — most commonly insufficient financial proof, weak ties to India, or a purpose of visit that wasn't clearly established. You can reapply immediately, but you must directly address the stated reason before submitting again. We analyse your refusal letter, identify exactly what went wrong, and rebuild your application with stronger evidence. Simply resubmitting the same application will result in another refusal.
